lisbon apartment
portugal
Conversion of a former office space within a 90’s building located on a parallel street to Avenida da Liberdade in Lisbon.
The entrance hall and a generous guest bathroom are located in the center of the apartment. A full height storage wall leads to the west facing open plan living and kitchen area with direct views onto the Marquês do Pombal statue. New ducts are left exposed to maximize ceiling height and reinforce a light and airy, loft apartment like feel to the space.
On the other side of the hall are the east facing guest bedroom and master bedroom complete with en-suite shower and dressing room.
Natural finishes and colours are used for a contemporary, minimal yet warm look and feel: solid wooden flooring and worktops, white painted joinery elements, handapplied microcement flooring, handcrafted traditional Portuguese glazed tiles in plain white, warm white lighting and exposed galvanized ducts.
