Newly completed for summer 2026 on the fourth floor of a centrally located, elevated alpine modernist building, this apartment provides a flexible, self-contained holiday home for owners and guests alike, professionally managed by a local holiday rental company.
The lounge layout centres around a panoramic window framing unobstructed views of Zermatt and the Matterhorn. Here, two large chenille sofas face one another, both enjoying direct views. This arrangement optimises views for sunrise and sunset gazing, using a nature-inspired colour palette that mirrors local seasonal shifts. Tucked into a quiet recess, a dedicated workspace supports extended stays. A continuous wraparound balcony runs along the south and west sides, accessed from the lounge and both bedrooms.
Beside the kitchen and open lounge, the dining area features a freestanding glass table and a wall mirror. Both create shifting reflections of the surrounding scenery, capturing the views to bring natural light and glimpses deep into the heart of the apartment. Wire-frame chair bases subtly echo the Matterhorn shape.
The double bedroom features a European king-size bed, a built-in wardrobe, open hanging, and a triptych canvas artwork. In the twin room, two nooks are arranged in a linear layout, providing some privacy while allowing each bed a view across the valley. Both feature a European double bed, a pendant light, and a vintage reproduction print to define each nook, with an open linear storage unit running along the opposite wall. All beds are dressed in white 100% cotton linens and hypoallergenic duvets and pillows, complemented by white 600gsm Turkish cotton towels.
