The interior is designed as a flexible holiday home for owners and guests, professionally managed by a local holiday rental company. Apartment Saphir is located just steps away from the Sunnegga-Rothorn valley station.

Through the large panoramic window, the two large open-ended sofas in the spacious lounge enjoy some of the finest unobstructed views over Zermatt, the Matterhorn, and the surrounding mountains. It is a magnificent spot to watch the Matterhorn at sunrise, sunset, or any other time, enjoy entertainment on the large TV, or socialise. The dark green, golden-yellow, and reddish-pink colours are inspired by shades found in the local forests during spring and autumn.
A French door connects to the large, sunny, south- and west-facing wraparound balcony, which is furnished with bistro-style tables and chairs that allow for various configurations.

Fibre-optic Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace make longer stays easy, allowing occupants to work comfortably from home.
In the heart of the apartment, the freestanding glass dining table enjoys views through the lounge and over the roofs of Zermatt. The combination of a glass table with a large mirror creates ever-changing, arresting glimpses of reflected views when seen from different angles throughout the space. The glass sliders and door to the functional kitchen—featuring a dark green floor and splashback—allow the dining area and kitchen to function as separate or semi-open spaces.
The double bedroom features a European king-size bed (160×200 cm), a built-in wardrobe, and open hanging space, as well as balcony access and beautiful views towards the Gornergrat valley station and the mountains. Concealed in one corner, a stacked washer/dryer tower caters to all laundry needs during longer stays.
Offering a more generous setup than the Swiss standard, the twin room features two European double beds (140×200 cm) designed for individual guests. Arranged as cosy, semi-private nooks, both beds offer unobstructed, magnificent views across the valley and Zermatt paragliding landing spot. Directly opposite, sleek, linear open storage keeps the layout uncluttered and maximises personal space. A French door opens onto the wrap around balcony.
Throughout the home, table, floor-standing, and bedside lamps—in addition to ceiling lights—enable guests to create various lighting moods for a relaxing atmosphere.
